Exploring Opportunities in Music

"Show & Shed" (S&S) is annual instrumental Music Education Workshop targeting Youth Musicians and the young at heart. S&S offers courses in Jazz Improvisation, grove ability, music theory, and advanced harmony, ending with a performances by participants and local and international artists.

Our Purpose

Founded 2015, by Angela Ward, "Show & Shed" was derived from the common expression "Show and Tell", common in classroom settings. "Shed" is a musical slang term which means to practice rigorously on a musical instrument to improve or perfect one's technical facility and develop ideas. The idea behind "Show & Shed" was to allow musicians of all genres tthe opportunity to come together, experiment with various styles and concepts, answer questions, share experiences, and build relationships. "Show & Shed" is designed to create a musician friendly community. Everyone is encouraged to play and "shed" on their instruments. Everyone will leave with a new concept and hopefully inspired to continue spreading love through music.
